A Pawn
in the Game
Beyond
the glimpse of nature and life,
Beyond the grips of wander and strife
Exists a world beyond this flesh
Where breath is vanquished
With all its bewilderment,
Wher morning rolls with a rollicking
beauty
Which scare thaws our grimace
And the horrors of the evening shadows,
Which melts the stings of death's meadow
If humankind and death play a dual
Who is the better, stronger, mightier
foe?
Though death stings strike life's
follies,
Happy are those who lose its duel
And enter deep into death's slumber
Better for us in this mortal game,
To enter into death's sleep and
tranquility
No matter how hard we play,
we are pawns in the game of life's
voyage.

A
Sanctuary
I have
tried so many times
I have written so many lines
I have danced to many rhythms
I did all I could to hide behind my
shadows
I did my best to stop myself
But every moment becomes an ace
Whenever I see your smiling face
Although I tried,
I must confess
With all conviction
With all my strength,
With all my all
I must accept
I found a friend
And a sanctuary in you.

Beyond
The Skies
I know a
place beyond the skies
Where hope, love and freedom lies.
A place I've seen beyond the east,
Where nothing worries in the least.
Nor fears, nor tears there exists,
But life and wisdom there subsist.
No maniac or vampires there are found,
But lovers and philanthropists there
abounds.
I know a place beyond the skies,
Where only lovers and heroes fly.
I've seen a world of wonder beyond our
own,
Where nothing exists but life alone.
