Intramural Flag Football

Flag Football Fall 2010

Entry Deadline
Friday, September 17th at 4:00pm at The W Welcome Desk. Rosters must be completed front and back, with correct ID and phone numbers. Incomplete Rosters will not be accepted. Entries are limited! Most Intramural sports leagues fill before the deadline. If you have any questions, call 352-8713.

Competition
We offer competition in Men's, Women's and Co-Rec leagues. Games will be played at the Walston-Hoover Stadium. Intramural competition takes place Monday through Thursday evenings and make-up games on Sundays. Teams consist of 7 (8 co-rec) players. You need at least 6 players to play each night. Co-Rec teams must have an equal number of males and females playing, minus one either way.

Eligibility
All students, faculty and staff, are eligible to compete as stated in the Intramural Sports Handbook (http://www.the-w.org/IntramuralHandbook.pdf). Participants can only be on one Men's or Women's team and one Co-Rec team. Captains are responsible for the eligibility of their players. Individuals who are on the roster for the Wartburg Football team may not compete in this sport until one academic year has elapsed.

Participation Meeting
There will be a mandatory participants meeting on Monday, September 20th at 5:00pm in the wet classroom at The W. Failure to have someone from your team attend this meeting will result in your team being dropped from playoff competition.
