Tennis heats up home court
The Wartburg women’s tennis team volleyed to its second 9-0 victory of the ’99 season with a decisive win over Buena Vista University (BVU) on Saturday.

The Wartburg women’s volleyball team continued its successful 1999 season with a 15-5, 15-7, 15-5 victory over Cornell College in Thursday’s Parents’ Night game.

The 1999 Knights soccer season is in full swing for both the women’s and men’s programs.

Oregon Trail has positive effects
They’re back and ready for action. After a hike across country, the men and women of Wartburg’s cross country team are screaming their way toward a national championship title. Trekking up and down the Oregon coast earlier this month for a pre-season training camp, the team worked out and practiced team bonding.

Knights roast Beavers, 49 -27
The Knights football team tried some new ideas and were rewarded with some new looks. The team is trying out a new bus; they drove to Storm Lake the night before their game and stayed, and they had to tackle Ben Smith instead of Zach Mathers.
