The Homecoming parade shrinks to Kastle Parade
There will be no Homecoming parade for this year's Homecoming, but an abbreviated version called the Kastle Parade. The Kastle Parade will be confined to the campus mall on Saturday and will be a smaller version of the traditional Homecoming Parade usually held on Bremer Avenue. Holding an abbreviated parade was only one of many decisions made about Homecoming activities for Saturday morning, according to Al Koeneman, special assistant to the President.

Wartburg Castle Concert premieres
Wartburg Choir's concert in the Great Hall at the Wartburg Castle near Eisenach, Germany last April will be telecast Thursday at 8 p.m. and next Monday at 9 p.m. on Iowa Public Television.

Violinist Lisa Dondlinger, Miss Iowa 1998, will perform with the Wartburg Community Symphony in a Homecoming pops concert Saturday at 8 p.m. in Neumann Auditorium.

Double Jeopardy is doubly boring
The Fifth Amendment to the Constitution states that no person shall be "subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb." In other words, no one can be tried twice for the same crime in this country.
