Wartburg Choir's concert in the Great Hall at the Wartburg Castle near Eisenach, Germany last April will be telecast Thursday at 8 p.m. and next Monday at 9 p.m. on Iowa Public Television.

KWAR will host a special showing of the program Thursday in Buhr Lounge. It will be shown on a big screen television with stereo sound provided by KWAR. This is open to the public.

Expected to be in attendance from Eisenach are the Lord Mayor of Eisenach, Hans-Peter Brodhum, who is also a member of the college's Board of Regents; Gunter Schuchardt, director of the Wartburg Castle Foundation; Ute Lieske, assistant in the Lord Mayor's office; and Erich Kessler, Eisenach's utilities official.

The program features 300 individual shots of the choir's performance, video of the castle and surrounding countryside all backed by 60 minutes of music.

The program was professionally produced by IPTV in cooperation with production companies in Amsterdam. Jerry Grady of IPTV produced the event, and David Harrenstein, now assistant director of communication and marketing at Wartburg, assisted in production.
