Background
and Research Interests:
I have been working at the Vogel Library since the summer of 2005. Before joining
the staff at Wartburg, I was a full-time graduate student, working numerous jobs.
My past experience includes working at a small limnological research facility
in Madison, Wisconsin where my passion for the sciences erupted. Also I was a
late-night reference assistant during graduate school.
My research interests include: web design including usabilty and information
architecture, Web 2.0 tools and educational technology, scientific literacy,
library marketing, and collaborations between public and academic libraries.
I also currently teach independent studies at Wartburg on web design, public/academic/music
librarianship, and museum studies. I have also supervised a number of internships
for students.
