I am a member of both the cross country and track and field teams at Wartburg College. I am a multi-time all-conference in both sports, a two time all-region performer in cross country, and a national qualifier in both cross country and track. Running distance has taught me the importance of hard work and dedication in accomplishing goals and dreams. It has also taught me the value of relationships and teamwork as I have created lasting friendships with teammates and worked hard together to achieve team goals. I have also spent time volunteering at Habitat for Humanity tearing down houses in the Waverly area. I also participated in the Mr. Wartburg competition in January 2008, a type of Miss USA competition for men. Lastly, I enjoy spending time creating relationships with fellow students and friends I have made on campus.

I am a multi-time All-Conference and All-Region performer and have competed in two NCAA Division III National Cross Country meets and one NCAA Division III National Track meet. I became an All-American in the 5000 meter race at the 2008 NCAA Division III National Indoor Track Meet. |
