About Me

My name is Zeya Zhang, and my friends also call me Stone since it is much easier to  pronounce than my real Chinese name. I am currently a second-year student at Wartburg College with a third-year standing. My majors are Economics and Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, and my minors are Math and Accounting.

Music is my biggest entertainment; due to my Chinese background, I love listening to both western and Chinese classic music. I also play some woodwinds, including the western flute, the Chinese bamboo flute, and some other traditional Chinese instruments. I used to play in band in high schools both in China and in the US, but due to time issues, I stopped playing in college.

Besides music, I am also a big fan of martial arts. I have been trained of traditional Chinese Martial Arts for ten years, and also played little of Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, and boxing. For the past couple of years, I have switched from all the intense martial arts to Tai Chi Chuan, since Tai Chi Chuan, while being a powerful arts, is a good exercise, good physical and mental disciplines, and much healthier than all other martial arts.
